South Florida-based Former child prodigy Soul-Blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist REGGIE KING SEARS is back in 2025 with a new album titled "Crowned and Dangerous" that expands on his signature "Ghetto Soul" sound, which is a mix of Contemporary R&B, Funk, down-home Blues, Southern Soul, Neo-Soul, Rock and Hip Hop that will satisfy his ever-growing fan-base and sets him up to reach a larger and broader demographic.
Sears, now 33, has spent most of his life as a professional musician, became a mainstay on the international R&B, Funk and Blues circuit and has received praise and earned respect from legends and contemporaries alike.
While witnessing a powerful set by Sears and band at his world-famous venue, Blues legend Buddy Guy was so moved by their performance that he joined their set and sang a string of songs with them, along the way calling the young man a "bad motherf**ker."
G. Love (G Love and Special Sauce) declares Reggie as "one of the top guitarists in the world, so you better listen." Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Solomon Burke proclaimed him to be "The Future"; Christone "Kingfish" Ingram said "my friend Reggie Sears is a Florida legend. This guy's been doing it long before me and is truly the real deal. Check him out."
And none other than the legendary King of the Blues B.B. King appointed Reggie as one of the 21st century torchbearers when he told him "Keep on picking young man and keep the music alive".
Brad Shultz co-founder of Grammy-award winning multi-platinum band Cage The Elephant said "One of the best guitarists I've seen. He put on a great show. I love his passion and energy."
International Blues artist Bernard Allison called him "a bad*ss upcoming guitar player and singer, and the boy's got a lot of energy."
